October 2006:  This adult male Wood Duck has been seen on the Erne River in Enniskillen town centre, and appears to have paired up with a female Mallard.  Almost certainly an escape from captivity, it is a colourful addition to the town's fauna.

The top photo shows the bird in eclipse plumage, and the rest of the images show the spectacular breeding plumage.
