30th November 2005:  Tree Sparrows are still present in small numbers at Raghley, these birds were photographed on the power lines running out to the peninsula, together with a Redwing (left)

Seen from the road to the island.  The 10 ringed Brent Geese include one individual from the "Supergoose" project.  Pintails are rare but annual visitors to County Sligo.

The Velvet Scoter was seen from Mermaids Cove, which lies several kilometres east of Mullaghmore. This is the second  record for County Sligo of this species in recent years, the last being in February 2004.
