Near Coolaney Tim Roderick, NPWS Five Ravens were found dead, apparently illegally poisoned, near Coolaney, Co. Sligo.  Raven is a protected species in Ireland, and the Garda Síochána are investigating, along with the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

Please sign the Golden Eagle Trust's petition which seeks to make incidents like this a thing of the past.  The poisoned bait that killed these Ravens would be equally capable of killing eagles, and vice versa.
